Trying to decide which café in Brooklyn to go to?
There are over 1500 cafes in New York City and Brooklyn, 1000 of those are small chains or single locations. I don’t know about you but I love a good solo café date, but when there’s so many how do you filter out the good from the bad?
For me, word of mouth has deemed most promising over any mobile app, so I want to share with you my favorite café experiences! I’m starting off the series with Cinnamon Girl located in my neighborhood of Prospect Lefferts Garden and next to the park.
This cafe is perfect if you’re looking for something to go, why? It’s a market and a café with not a lot of seating but it works because you can have all the seating you want at Prospect Park.
It is a little pricey, but worth the splurge once in a while. The staff was really friendly which also makes it worth it. The market was full of local and healthy goods including local cheese, produce, craft beer and natural skincare products. Some things were even priced cheaper than other local markets, which I was surprised about.
As you can see, they have a large selection but make good use of there space.
I got the asparagus and ricotta quiche. It was pretty good for a park breakfast. I was a happy girl.
