Weekend mornings are my absolute favorite. PJ’s till noon (when the gym opens,) cups of coffee, and media catch up. Now of course this only happens if I’m not scheduled to work.
This tranquility I only experience in the morning would not be possible without my room. Lasell is unique in that they provide houses on campus for you to call your dorm room. All the homes are historic and have been part of the Lasell neighborhood since the 1800s. Wish I didn’t discover how brilliant house living was until my Senior year. I highly recommend it.
Here’s a peak inside my room and some chit chat on the decor.
A little overview of the goodies I keep on my desk. I am that girl who uses mason jars to organize.
Hanging jewlery and hats is a great way to decorate and organize!
Decided to be abstract with my twinkle lights this year.
I mainly put outerwear on my clothing rack. No particular reason besides not a lot of closet space and out of everything in my wardrobe I love my outerwear the most. Lots of thrifting items – blog post about thrifting coming soon!
I love big fluffy blankets and pillows. They are “gushy” as my family would say, its basically cozy but better. Note the beautiful cactus my roomie Rose gave me. Yes, I have a roommate and her side of the room is strategically hidden. Yes, those are two Totoros sitting on my bed.
Faux fur is a great way to pull your dorm room together. If you’re not a fan of that look, I find having a texture pattern is a great way to cozy up your space. Rugs, throw blankets and pillows people!
